Task 2. Explore carbon footprint

1. In the Google Cloud console, open the Navigation menu (), click View all Products > Tools > Carbon Footprint.
2. Explore the provided graphs indicating yearly and monthly gross carbon footprint for the selected billing account. Notice the value of the metric Google Cloud's net operational greenhouse gas emissions.
3. Provided graphs allow you to explore carbon emissions by month, project, service, and region.
4. Learn more about how Google Cloud calculates these metrics from Carbon footprint reporting methodology.

Export the carbon footprint data

1. In the upper right pane, click Export.
2. For Project, click Select Project.
3. Select your Qwiklabs-generated project: Lab Project ID for project_0.
4. Click Configure Export.
