Chery Q Launches in Pakistan With Smart Safety at Its Core

Six airbags meet intelligent driver assistance, enhanced parking visibility and connected cabin technology in the Chery Q Premium.

LAHORE, Pakistan, September 18, 2026, Chery Pakistan has launched the Chery Q at Pakistan Auto Show 2026, bringing together electric mobility, connected convenience and a layered approach to occupant protection. For technology-conscious motorists and families, the compact EV places practical safety systems alongside features that make everyday driving more intuitive without making the experience feel distant or overly complex.

Protection Comes First

Before active driver assistance enters the picture, the Chery Q establishes a physical protection foundation. Its high-voltage battery carries an IP68 ingress-protection rating, reflecting tested resistance to dust and water under defined conditions, while occupant protection is integrated throughout the cabin. The result is a compact EV whose technology begins with protection, not spectacle.

Three Layers of Quintessential Confidence

Protection around the cabin: 

Six airbags help provide coverage around occupants, making safety part of the Chery Q’s core equipment rather than an optional afterthought.

Support on the move: 

The Premium variant offers 21 Level 2 advanced driver-assistance functions designed to support awareness and respond to selected driving situations. These functions assist the driver; they do not replace attentive driving.

A clearer view while parking: 

A 540-degree camera helps reveal more of the vehicle’s surroundings, while Automatic Parking Assist adds support when manoeuvring into tighter spaces.

Technology That Earns Its Place

Inside the Premium variant, a 15.6-inch infotainment display brings essential controls and information together. Wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integrate familiar smartphone functions, while 50W wireless charging and offline voice control help drivers manage common tasks with fewer interruptions.

The technology story rests on capable electric fundamentals. A 42.7 kWh battery provides a 400 km NEDC-rated driving range, giving the Chery Q the flexibility to support routine commutes and busier days with multiple stops. Actual range will vary with driving and operating conditions.

Customers can pre-book the Chery Q Premium against an advance payment of PKR 1.5 million. Final ex-factory pricing, applicable taxes, insurance, freight and city-specific charges should be confirmed through Chery Pakistan’s official booking channel or authorised dealerships.
